The crowds thin out a bit compared to July and August, and the early hints of fall color start to appear along the riverbanks. Trails have nice shade from the trees and a cool breeze along the river! It’s an easy drive from Enumclaw or Auburn, making it a quick local getaway without needing to plan an all-day trip.
